He was responsible for fantastic air quality on the ship

John remembered asking his mom if she would come to his third-grade career day.

He thought it was ridiculous to have a career day when you were in third grade.

They were too old to like the jobs their parents did, but too young to worry about getting a job. John was glad his mom didn’t show up, because this was proving to be a lame and embarrassing day for all the people. All he thought about was that he was missing lunch. His friends were aggravated because all the people were boring. An hour later, the teacher said they had one last man who would come in to talk to them. John was writing in his book and reading a little until he heard the voice. He introduced himself and said he was an Heating & A/C specialist on a ship. John felt tears in his eyes, because he hadn’t seen his brother in over a year. He got up and ran to him and didn’t want to let go. He had tears in his eyes as he pulled up a desk so he could be near him. He told the class about being an Heating & A/C specialist in the Navy. He said that as an Heating & A/C specialist, he was responsible for nice air quality on the ship. He made sure that all the people who worked in the bowels of the ship had HVAC. He was also responsible for making the men on the ship comfortable by supplying fresh air. When he was done talking, all the people were dismissed, and all John could do was cry and keep hugging his sibling.
