I enjoy tackling DIY condo improvement projects, however over the years, I have accumulated a fairly impressive collection of pools; I own everything from a cut saw, miter saw plus circular saw to a cordless drill plus nail gun.
I’ve learned how to update windows, hang drywall, cut trim boards, hang a door plus install light fixtures plus power outlets.
I have no problem gutting a room down to the bare studs, updating the wiring, adding insulation plus finishing the walls plus ceilings. I enjoy refinishing hardwood floors, building shelves plus painting, then the only projects I avoid are anything to do with plumbing. I have had entirely little success plus a lot of frustration in my every attempt to update, service or update the plumbing, and at one time, I bought a brand new, touchless dining room sink faucet. I watched videos on how to install it plus the process seemed quite easy! However, I couldn’t remove the old faucet, then everything was totally rusted. I bought special tools plus still could not manage it. It was impossible to get any leverage in my awkward position under the sink. I eventually had no choice but to hire a licensed plumber plus spend a small fortune on a task I should have been able to handle myself! When there was a leaky pipe under the bathroom sink, I diagnosed it for hours. I was not capable of stopping the leak. I once again called a licensed plumber to complete the task, then because everything plumbing related is so potentially damaging, I would rather pay more plus have the task done right. Even a minor leak can add up to major waste plus expense.
