I am trying to figure out what to put on our business cards for our band.
We are leaning towards “Original Fun Music” because all of our music is original and made up on the spot, and I was a comedian for 15 years so the fun is part of the package.
Our band name is Bad Endings because a lot of our earlier songs had terrible endings to them, so we decided the name was a good fit. Good music with bad endings, haha. We are going to hand out these cards around town to the local businesses in hopes of getting weekly gigs at three or four places. I think I could do three shows a week no problem, but four a week may start to wear on me as the drumming takes a lot of energy. The new contractor in town heard us playing and told us he can get us on the radio soon so that we can get more gigs in these air conditioned beach bars around town. I think it would be a fun way to spend the last 20 years of your life playing music and having fun in clubs around town like we are trying to do. We also want to play in ski lodges with good heating in the winter, as we have a cabin on the mountainside in a ski town and can stay there for free to do shows in the wintertime and earn some money while having a blast. We have a nice fireplace in the cabin and a lot of room for our gear.
