My company inspects all HVAC installation on the jobsite

I work for a major construction company in town.

And if you know anything about construction, there is always a chance of someone getting hurt due to the nature of the job. So, under the law, all construction companies are required to abide by the safety rules of a jobsite. And most construction companies will have safety orientation every morning to make sure that the crews are always in compliance. It’s better to be safe than sorry because one mistake could be the difference between life and death. Moreover, construction companies are required to build structures based on precise measurements as well as specific materials. Deviating from those approved specs can lead to a disaster which could also cause injuries. For instance, last year, we had a major incident on one of our jobsites with an HVAC installation. The HVAC company came in and installed some new units inside a 20-story building that we constructed. And some parts from the unit came loose and fell to the ground. Well, after that incident with that HVAC company, we conducted our own inspections with our engineers. This is common practice for construction companies to avoid incidents like the one we had from happening. And an accident on the jobsite can lead to safety violations which is never something that we want to deal with. So, we take the right steps to make sure that all the HVAC equipment as well as any other installations inside our buildings are done based on the proper specs. It is important to hire reputable HVAC companies to guarantee that there are very little risks with any installation. Afterall, nobody wants a lawsuit or safety violation because of something that could have been avoided.
