The house was cold, the day gloomy, and all I wanted to do was go back to bed! I was half chilly to death in my house because the electric heat pump was not toiling while he was in a warm cozy home, no doubt with state-of-the-art heating equipment, but one look at me, and he knew there would be hell to pay. John had promised to call the heating supplier while I was away; clearly, he hadn’t. I had been away for almost two years. How was I supposed to start scouting for new Heating and Air Conditioning products for sale? John and I typically communicated, and he assured me he was never late for heating system service, then as things stood, I doubted that he called the heating professional even once. John was all smiles when he saw me as if he was expecting me! Still, why would he not? I had called prior and asked him to make sure the electric Heating and Air Conditioning and the fireplace were toiling since I knew how the weather was at this time of year. He asked if I had reset the wireless control component before he tried to reach the Heating and Air Conditioning specialist… That’s when I realized that I hadn’t quite checked the heat pump replacement, I had suddenly jumped to conclusions. To save face I said I observed it needed a new HEPA filter and energy-saving tips to survive the winter.
