My hubby was looking for new a/c units for the house.
Since we didn’t have an air duct, we had always used window a/c units.
Every couple of years we would replace one, however they worked easily well, and they never raised the utility bills too much. This year we needed a new a/c unit. He was looking to see where we could get a nice bargain on a window cooling system. The ones we had worked easily well, and I thought we should stick with them, despite the fact that he wanted to try something different. He looked at various websites, and he was getting excited. He told me he found a cooling system that was supposed to work easily. It had some nice reviews, and they were selling them, two A/C units for the price of one. It was a nice deal, however it was one that was too nice to be true. My dad always said that if something sounds too nice to be true, then it absolutely was, and I believed him. I actually wanted him to do some comparison shopping and then look at reviews that were not on the A/C sales pages. When he started looking for reviews on the A/C unit, he found odd reviews than what he saw. The cooling systems weren’t as normally advertised. Some people never got the second component however they paid additional shipping and handling, which they didn’t get back. We went to the home center where we bought the original cooling systems. They weren’t on sale, however we really knew how well they worked.
