Driving a school bus for a living can be quite challenging at times & rewarding at others.
I genuinely enjoy my task, & I wouldn’t trade it for any other, however there are days that are a bit more hard than others, then last week, I had several of those more hard days. The first thing that happened was that my bus started making peculiar noises, so I called the mechanic & tried to explain to him the sounds & where they were coming from. He told me that I shouldn’t drive the bus any further, so I had to have another bus driver come chance up my kids with her bus, & pretty much everyone was late getting home which I easily heard about from their parents for the following week. It was quite frustrating. The second & most irritating thing that happened was the air conditioner stopped working on my bus. It was really miserable. Not only was I trying to keep myself from passing out from heat exhaustion as I was driving down the road, I also had to keep the kids glad which was nearly impossible because they were so boiling & miserable. That felt like the longest bus run of my life, & I didn’t guess it would ever end. The mechanic at the bus garage said he had fixed the AC, however the following day I had some more troubles with it. The air conditioner troubles made last weekvery tough, although I got through it, & I just hope that next week won’t be as bad.
