Our basement is almost consistently chilly.
I know that it is because heat rises, but I just hate that it is cold down there because that is where the kids usually play. I cherish that they can have an entire basement worth of space to play in. It is honestly nice for them. They just cherish it! I don’t want to keep them from playing down there, so I try and heat it the best that I can. I had been using two electric space heaters for a while, but one of them stopped working, and the other one could not heat the basement on its own. I thought about getting another electric space boiler like the one that I had, but I realize that I could get an electric fireplace that would put off more heat while using the same amount of electricity. I knew that it would be more luxurious outright, but I was willing to spend money the price. I knew that the fireplace would look much more aesthetically pleasing as well. I am so cheerful that I decided to get a fireplace instead of another boiler like I had. It genuinely puts off a lot more heat, and it is charming. My kids cherish the looks of it as well. I don’t have to worry about them burning themselves on it either. The way the heat comes out of the top prevents the kids from being able to burn themselves. Even my youngest who is only four months old likes to lay and watch the fake flames. It has genuinely been nice for our whole family.
