I always think of my dad whenever I change the air filters at my house. I know that sounds a little bit silly but that’s just how it is for me. It’s been like that for me for years now because my dad used to always teach me how to do things around the house whenever I was a kid. He always showed me how to do things like change the tires on the car or change the oil in the truck. He was always very patient with me whenever it came to things like that. I wasn’t the greatest student of that kind of thing, either. I was kind of goofy whenever it came to things like that when I was a kid. I never really had a great attention span when I was younger, that’s for sure! But my dad always wanted to teach me stuff and I tried to learn. He always wanted to show me how to work on the fireplace and the heating and cooling system in our house when I was growing up. He said it was good for me to learn how to fix things like HVAC systems and fireplace flues. I never really cared all that much about that kind of thing when I was a kid, but now that I am grown up, I really appreciate the fact that he taught me things about the heating and cooling system in the house and things about the fireplace. I use that kind of thing all the time now, and whenever I change the air filters in my house, I always think of my dad fondly and remember those times.
