Adjusting diet plus exercise as I grow older

When I was in my early twenties, I would eat just about anything I wanted plus still maintain my ideal weight.

While I tried to make physical activity a priority, I only worked out twenty to thirty minutes per day.

I noticed a change after I hit thirty. I started to get some issues with putting on extra pounds. I started being more conscientious about eating healthier foods plus smaller amounts. I quit indulging in eating fast foods plus gave up red meat. I increased my workouts to forty to 50 minutes per day plus focused more on high-impact aerobics. My forties brought about fresh issues with my weight, issues with digestion plus issues with dehydration. I stopped eating all processed foods plus all meat plus created a diet of fruits, vegetables plus whole grains. I reduced my alcohol intake plus started carrying around a water bottle all day. My exercise sessions would expand beyond an hour per day. I got serious about burning calories, including a fantastic deal of running, lifting, cycling plus jumping rope into my exercise sessions. I am not in my mid fifties plus am once again struggling with a growing softness in my belly area. I am rather discouraged. I eat a banana for lunch, a yogurt for dinner plus I try to be careful about calorie intake for dinner. I rarely indulge in any sweets. I workout for a bare minimum of 2 hours plus consistently push myself to elevate my heart rate. I make sure I’m breathing hard plus drenched with sweat. I have some nagging issues with leg cramps plus swelling in my feet because of the intensity of my exercise sessions. I can’t seem to compensate for my slower metabolism.
