I didn’t realize that you could actually get holes in your ductwork.
Granted, I didn’t really know anything about heating and cooling and air ducts in general.
But something I did notice is the fact that my heating and cooling bills kept climbing, and climbing, and climbing. It didn’t seem like it was going to go down any time soon, and since I wasn’t doing anything different than before, I had to get to the bottom of the issue before I lost any more money. The best course of action was to call a heating and cooling repairman, and see if they could fix the issue for me. I was pretty confident in the ability of the HVAC servicemen, and I knew that they would solve the issue for me. When the cooling repairman came over, he identified the issue as being an issue with the air ducts, and not a problem with the smart thermostat, or with the heating and air conditioning system. The solution was simple. Patch up the holes, and everything would go back to normal, it didn’t take longer than an hour for the ductwork sealing, and when he was done, the cooling worker was on his way. I was glad that this was an issue of the past, because I was losing money so quickly, there was no way I could keep up with it! I will have to keep an eye on my air ducts from now on, but I think my HVAC equipment is in good shape for now.
