Recognizing incredible heating and cooling run

For sure, the house feels different now that we replaced the residential HVAC.

It’s for sure a good different.

I mean, we are the beneficiaries of the very latest when it comes to HVAC technology. Couple that with the fact that our old HVAC equipment lasted for almost 30 years and it’s a change indeed. But replacing the HVAC equipment also comes with some sadness as well. I don’t know if it will be this year or next, but replacing the heating and cooling equipment is definitely part of selling this house. That’s been a hard thing for me to come to terms with which has been quite surprising for me. I’m known throughout the commercial HVAC of the office as the guy who is the least emotional. Win or lose, I tend to keep my poker face on all the time. But leaving this home has hit me emotionally far more than I would have thought. Still, with the kids now fully grown, it just doesn’t make much sense for us to keep this place. It’s way too big for just two people. The heating and cooling costs alone are dumb from just us. But that’s what happens when you raise a family. Eventually, it’s time to let that house be the home to another growing family. I still can’t believe how hard it hit me to watch the old heat pump get removed. That thing was a champion for us. Now, it’s off to the recycling bin. But at least I have the latest and greatest in residential HVAC as we make more moves to get the house on the market.
