I wasn’t getting as much a/c coming through my air vents.
I could not figure out what was going on, and all I could believe was that my cooling system was acting up.
I called the heating as well as A/C business and told them about the a/c unit. The next morning, the heating as well as the A/C serviceman was outside looking at the A/C unit, however after half an hour, he told me he had checked everything, despite the fact that he found nothing wrong with the a/c unit. He asked if it was okay if he checked the air duct. He was simply thinking there could be something wrong with the air duct, and the A/C could be escaping before getting into the main house. When he eventually got into the attic, he came right back out. He said there was nothing they could do to service the air duct, until we got rid of the critters. I thought he was simply joking; however, from the look on his face, I knew he wasn’t. He said he was within two inches of a snarling raccoon when he poked his head into the attic. He also knew the air duct had to be repaired because of how cool it was when he opened the trap door. I now had to find someone that would affix a raccoon from my attic. What we thought was one raccoon was a mama raccoon with five babies. It took a while to get them out, however after that I needed to clean up the locale before the heating as well as the A/C serviceman came back. The attic smelled so badly, I wouldn’t go in there before it was professionally cleaned.
