My fiance had already warned me that if I worked for free for his family one more time, she would leave. It actually seemed that whenever I had time off, one of my family members would call and ask me to work on their heating as well as the A/C system. I was spending most of my off hours toiling for free., and my fiance had enough. She wanted my business, and didn’t want to spend all our time with the family. Her family didn’t impose on us, and she didn’t believe mine should. I didn’t actually mind toiling on the family’s heating as well as A/C equipment, however I was tired of being used, and no matter what I was doing, they thought I had to drop it and come running. I believe my fiance’s final straw broke when we were at the lake. We were celebrating our ninth anniversary and made reservations to spend a week at the lake in one of their lodges. At two o’clock in the morning, my uncle called. His a/c quit toiling and my aunt could not sleep. I told him I was out of town with my fiance, despite the fact that he laid on the guilt trip. She told me if I left, she was leaving. I called the heating as well as A/C business and put in an emergency call. Since I didn’t really show up, my uncle told them I was going to pay the bill. My sibling called within a couple of mornings of this happening, and had my fiance furious. I told my sibling I was stressed and shut the iphone off.
