Eventually, the HVAC business put in place COVID protocols and they managed to come fix the faulty AC.
Mercy had to move in with her grandmother in 2020. She was living in the city when the pandemic hit and felt her grandmother would be too lonely. Since she lives alone, there was no way she’d manage to go to her clubs and community meetings anymore. Since Mercy works remotely, she packed up her small apartment and went to live with her granny. This has been the best decision ever, and 2 years on, she is still there. Mercy’s grandma doesn’t want her to move out anyway. That first year was so challenging since there was no way to leave the house safely to do the things they both loved. Even groceries had to be ordered online and delivered to the house. Mercy also had to contend with a faulty AC that first summer since the HVAC business in the area was yet to add COVID protocols. Mercy and her grandma did their best to keep the house cool including hanging heavy blackout curtains. But, the heat was at times too high, especially that one week when there was a heat wave. Eventually, the HVAC business put in place COVID protocols and they managed to come fix the faulty AC. Mercy was so happy with the excellent service that she left them a great review. The HVAC specialist who came to the house had made sure to have minimal interaction and still managed to do a good job. Mercy and her grandma still use the same HVAC business after they signed a service agreement.
