My neighbors are notorious for throwing huge parties all summer time long.
I have had some complications with them making noise into the wee hours however other than that, it hasn’t been a real issue.
Sporadically I am invited to join in the festivities plus sporadically I go. The last time I was there I noticed that there was a chill in the air beyond the normal. It was mid-September plus the weather was still comfortable. The house was closed up plus the Heating plus A/C system was running. I thought they should have just opened the windows to prefer the evening air, but, they loved to run the system all the time. It still seemed that the temperature in the room was colder than it should have been; When I questioned my neighbor about it they said that they had been having some complications with the Heating plus A/C system for a month or so plus couldn’t seem to get it regulated. I commanded that they supply my Heating plus A/C contractor a call. I had a programmable system installed a few years ago plus it seemed to help with the constant swings in temperature at my own home. The seasoned dial type thermostats don’t allow you to have an exact temperature set anyway. You can turn the dial to what you think is 65 degrees plus it entirely could be anywhere between 63 or 67 separate from you even knowing it. This is not only not energy efficient however can make your house feel uncomfortable too. I think they took my advice because I saw an Heating plus A/C truck in their driveway the other afternoon.
