We went to an outside music festival.

I begged my Dad to let me go to an outside music festival last week.

  • I had never been to a music festival, and I thought I was outdated enough to go; Dad told me that the only way she would let me go to the music festival was if she or my dad went with me! She didn’t suppose a fifteen year outdated girl should be alone in that giant a group of people.

I wasn’t glad, but I was going to get to go. I thought because of the crowd and the bright lights, it would be much warmer at the festival, than it was. I had worn a thin t-shirt, even though Dad told me I should wear a hoodie, or a jacket. They didn’t have any lighting in the back of the crowd, and I kept inching closer to mom. There were bright lights up front, but I was cold. I was hoping there would be patio furnaces to help keep me warm, but there was nothing. I was right next to Dad when she put her arm around me and asked if I was okay… As much as I hated to disclose it, I wasn’t having fun. I wanted to go to the motorcar and turn on the heater so I would finally be warm. My pal and I got into the car, and I told Dad I was scared because I knew no one, and I was glad she was there. I asked her to take me household so I could turn up the control unit in my home office, and get some heat. I was shivering, and didn’t care if I ever went to another outdoor music festival.
