No matter what service you need, you want to be able to trust that the job is done according to the contract and that the company or person stands behind that job.

She found one pretty quickly and his information on the site said that he was supplementing his income with odd jobs. He also said that he worked or a local HVAC company during the day. That wasn’t exactly true, we learned later, and we ended up with a huge mess at our home. The ductwork had huge gaps in it and the furnace would shut off for no reason. We paid him for the work before we tested the system and of course he was nowhere to be seen when we had the problems. We were out the money we spent and ended up hiring a certified technician to come and fix the problem. We contacted the local HVAC dealer and we asked a lot of questions this time before we hired them. We read online reviews, BBB ratings and even asked about them on social media. No way did we want to be taken advantage of again. Thankfully the company we hired did a great job and they guarantee their work for the next twelve months.
