I never pictured myself being single as an adult.
Just like most girls, I dreamed of growing up and getting married.
I actually wanted to get married right out of college. Unfortunately, that did not happen for me. It has been hard being single, but I am trying to enjoy the freedom of it as much as I can. I don’t think that I would make it if it were not for my best friend, Sandy. She is also single, so we spend a lot of time together. It is so nice having such an amazing friend as Sandy. She listens to me vent about how much I wish that I was married all of the time. She patiently encourages me to just keep waiting and enjoying my single years. I know that she is right, and I really appreciate her advice and patience. I am super happy or Sandy because she just had a fireplace installed in her house. That may sound funny to be happy about a fireplace, but she has been wanting one for years now. She has always loved fireplaces, and after buying her dream home a couple of years ago, all she has wanted is to add a fireplace to her already gorgeous living room. The fireplace that she had installed is absolutely beautiful. It looks so good in her living room. It looks so good that you would think that it was installed when the house was built. The best part is to see how happy she is about her new fireplace. I just love having such a good friend and being able to rejoice with her over even the little things in life.
